Why trust Office Coffee Break?
Choosing an office coffee provider means trusting someone with a daily part of your workplace. Here are straight answers to the questions offices ask us most — before you commit to anything.
Straight answers, before you commit
Who owns Office Coffee Break?
Tom Dowd — owner of Break Coffee Co. of Central & South Florida. It is a local, owner-operated business, not a national franchise or a call center, so when you get in touch you are dealing directly with the owner. More about Tom and the company.
Why are your recommendations unbiased?
Because the goal is a system that fits your office, not the most expensive machine we can place. We match the setup to your size, your peak hours and your budget — and if a simpler option is the right call, we say so. If we are genuinely not the right fit, we will tell you that too. Good advice earns long-term clients; overselling does not.
Why are there no long-term contracts?
We would rather earn your business every month than lock you into it. No contract means you stay because the coffee and the service are good, not because you are trapped — and it keeps us accountable, because if we ever stopped delivering you would be free to leave. It also means you are not carrying a multi-year commitment on the books for something as everyday as coffee.
What does the office coffee service include?
Everything except the milk. The machine itself, delivery and installation, the coffee, restocking as you use it, professional cleaning, and servicing when it needs it — all in one price. Nobody on your team places an order, descales anything, or calls a technician. You choose flat-rate or per-cup billing depending on how your office drinks.
How much does office coffee service cost?
Hot coffee starts from $499 every 4 weeks, all-inclusive except the actual milk — that covers the machine, install, stocking, cleaning and service in a single figure rather than a base price with extras bolted on. Cold brew on tap is $25 a week for the countertop kegerator, plus $150 per 3-gallon bag-in-box of nitro cold brew, ordered only as you need them rather than on a fixed schedule. Full pricing is published here — most suppliers will not give you a number at all.
Is the coffee machine really free?
Yes. Commercial machines are supplied and installed at no equipment cost — there is no rental fee, no lease, and nothing to buy outright. It works out simpler than renting or buying an office coffee machine, and it means the equipment stays our responsibility to maintain rather than becoming an asset you have to look after.
Do you use real milk, or powdered?
Real milk, always. Fresh refrigerated milk goes into every latte and cappuccino — never powdered creamer, which is what most vending-style machines rely on and the single biggest reason office coffee tastes like office coffee.
What coffee machines do you install?
Swiss-made JURA bean-to-cup machines, matched to your headcount. They grind whole beans for every cup rather than working from pods or a pot that has been sitting since morning, and they pour seventeen cafe specialties at one touch. Compare the commercial coffee machines we supply.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Office coffee service and break room coffee delivery across 11 counties in Central & South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach through the Treasure Coast, and up into Orlando, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard. Every county we cover, with a page for each.
What happens if the coffee machine breaks down?
A local Florida team handles servicing and repairs — the same people who installed it, not a national dispatch line reading from a script. Preventative maintenance is part of the service, so most problems get caught on a routine visit before anyone in your office notices.
Do you supply water, snacks or vending?
No. We do office coffee, and we do it properly. If you need a one-stop pantry supplier for vending machines, water coolers and snack service, we are honestly not the right fit — and we would rather say so now than sell you something we are not built to deliver.
Do you work with smaller offices?
Yes. We serve offices of all sizes and specialise in workplaces of 20-250 employees. Smaller teams usually need a different machine rather than a smaller version of the same one, which is exactly the kind of thing the consultation is for.
Can we try office coffee service before committing?
Yes — a complimentary two-week trial for qualified workplaces. We install a machine and stock it, and your team judges the coffee in your own break room, on your own routine, before anything is agreed.
How long does installation take?
Usually as quickly as you want it. When the machine is in stock we simply agree a day that suits you — that can be tomorrow, or next Monday. If your office needs a model we order in specially, such as a Giga X8, a Giga 10 or the cold brew kegerator, allow another three to five days.
How often do you restock and clean the machine?
Every other week for most offices, without fail. Busier break rooms are serviced weekly and the quietest every four weeks — four weeks is the longest we ever leave it. Each visit covers cleaning the machine, servicing it and restocking your supplies. Nitro cold brew is the exception: there is nothing to clean, because it pours from a sealed bag-in-box — when one empties, the next simply connects in its place.
What happens at the end of the two-week trial?
There is no obligation either way — if it is not right for your office, we take the machine away and that is the end of it. If you do want to keep it, we look at how much your team actually drank over the two weeks and recommend the plan that fits. Under about 100 cups a week, the flat rate of $499 every 4 weeks is usually the better deal. Above that, per-cup billing is usually better value — the rate drops as the volume goes up, so the more your office drinks, the less each cup costs. Heavier use often means a bigger machine too, such as a Giga X8, and those carry a higher minimum requirement.

What Florida offices say on Google
Tom and his team always deliver. They are very responsive to all of our needs. And the coffee and coffee machine are amazing. We use the machine to offer coffee to our clients and our clients love it. We actually have a small group of men who come in a few times a week just to socialize and have a cup of coffee. Kudos to Tom and his team.
